Ranney Delivers Keynote at NIEHS Trainees Assembly
Associate Professor of Cognition and Development Michael Ranney delivered the two-hour keynote address at the Ninth Annual Biomedical Career Fair for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences' NIEHS Trainees Assembly in Durham, North Carolina in April.
Ranney discussed his personal journey through the job application process and addressed the audience’s related questions. Approximately 300 participants from the NIEHS, Environmental Protection Agency and local universities attended, including several biomedical postdoctoral fellows and graduate students. Following the lecture, question-and-answer panel sessions were convened to discuss scientific careers.
