Financial Aid
Information about financial aid for prospective students is summarized on the Graduate Division's Financial Aid page. You may also want to visit the Financial Aid Office website for additional information.
Due to our summer starting time you will need to apply for FAFSA for both 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 in order to receive financial aid for the first summer session as well as the subsequent sememsters. In addition, you must notify us of your intent to receive financial aid prior to the Graduate Division deadline of March 1, 2010.
We currently plan to award a scholarship of $5000 and a stipend of $1000 from the USDOE, plus additional funds from other PLI grants if and when they become available. We are continually searching for other sources of funding, however under the current budget crisis we cannot confirm the above amounts until the start of the program.
PLI Students are not eligible for any other departmental scholarships through the Graduate School of Education.
California residents can expect to pay approximately $15,500 (not including scholarship awards) in University tuition and fees, plus books and other fees.
