Undergraduate Minor in EducationAdvising
The administrative side of the Education Minor is handled through the Student Academic Services Office of the Graduate School of Education in 1600 Tolman Hall. The office carries a variety of announcements about the minor, including the approved course list for each semester, Education Minor applications, and brochures. In addition, the front desk assistant can answer questions students might have about the field studies program.
The Education Minor Advisor is available to advise students on policies and questions concerning the minor and paperwork needed to complete the minor. The UME Advisor is available by appointment, drop-in, phone, or email. Office hours and contact information for the UME Advisor are listed below.
For students potentially interested in the teaching profession, the Graduate School of Education offers teaching credential information seminars which are open to Education minor students. You may sign up for a seminar by calling (510) 642-5345.
