Financial Aid

Past students have received scholarships in varying amounts for participation in the PLI. For Cohort 9, 2008-09 we currently award a scholarship of $5000
and a stipend of $1000 from the USDOE, plus additional funds from PLI grants as they become available. We were able to offer an award of $7500 for Cohort 8. We are continually searching for other sources of funding. PLI Students are not eligible for any other departmental scholarships through the Graduate School of Education, but may qualify for various types of Federal Financial Aid (Please visit http://www.grad.berkeley.edu/financial/ for more information). Students can expect to pay $14,500-$15,000 in tuition fees at the current rates, plus books and fees.
