 Synthesis Teams

  • About the Synthesis Teams

Seven Synthesis Teams, focusing on seven crucial topics in education, are producing authoritative reports on the nation's current state of knowledge about effective school reform for all students. Their reports are based on the research findings of CREDE and will be completed in spring 2004. The teams will also recommend the next national research agenda. Teams are comprised of CREDE researchers, distinguished "mainstream" researchers, teachers, administrators, and policymakers and are focusing on these seven areas:

    • Language Learning and Academic Achievement
    • Professional Development for Diversity
    • Preservice Teacher Education for Diversity
    • Schools, Families and Community
