The NIH School Readiness Project
This new project is being conducted with colleagues
from the University of Texas at Houston, Florida State University, Smith
College, and the University of Arizona. We will study the effects of
an integrated early childhood curriculum including language and literacy,
mathematical development, and socio-emotional development on the school
readiness of low-income preschool children.
This project is funded by the National Institutes
of Health. Prentice
Starkey is the principal investigator.
