1.   National Service-Learning Clearinghouse

The National Service-Learning Clearinghouse is a project of ETR Associates and is funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service. It supports the service-learning community in higher education, K-12, community-based initiatives and tribal programs, as well as all others interested in strengthening schools and communities using service-learning techniques and methodologies with materials, references, referrals, and information.

2.   National Campus Compact

Campus Compact is a national coalition of close to 850 college and university presidents committed to the civic purposes of higher education. It promotes community service that develops students' citizenship skills and values, encourages partnerships between campuses and communities, and assists faculty who seek to integrate public and community engagement into their teaching and research

3.   Learning In Deed

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation in 1998 launched Learning In Deed, a national initiative to engage more young people in service to others as part of their academic life. It is a $13 million, four-year initiative that encourages more school systems across the country to adopt service-learning, making quality service-learning opportunities available to youth in every classroom in grades K-12 throughout the country.

4.   School Grants

The SchoolGrants Web site was launched in August, 1999 to provide districts with a resource for finding grant opportunities and other assistance for supplemental programs for their students.
