Teacher Researchers in Untracked English
(TRUE)
This project is a collaboration with teacher researcher Verda Delp.
The first phase consists of a study in which the project observed how
Delp meets the literacy-learning needs of academically and
socioculturally diverse students in the same classroom. The second
phase is a study of what is involved in teaching new teachers how to
teach in these settings.
Funded by the Spencer Foundation. Sarah Warshauer
Freedman is the principal investigator, and Verda Delp in the
project co-director.
