Together they have nearly 150 years in the profession of school psychology. They each lead professional organizations with a combined membership of nearly 200,000 people worldwide. Their work and service has undoubtedly touched the lives of millions of school children around the globe.

And they—Professor Frank Worrell, Dr. Laurie Klose, and Professor Chryse “Sissy” Hatzichristou—also share the distinction of being alumni of Berkeley GSE’s School Psychology program.

Professor Dor Abrahamson planned to do a little humble bragging with his latest tablet app, the Mathematics Imagery Trainer, designed for middle schoolers to learn ratio and proportions, which he'd rigged up to include beeping noises for sight-impaired students.

Within minutes of his conversation with Engineering PhD Josh, it was Professor Abrahamson who was humbled.
