EDUCATIONAL SCIENCES, an interdisciplinary field of study, strives to advance understanding of how people learn and how to design learning environments and supportive policy and community contexts in which such learning can successfully unfold. Education not only happens in schools and higher education, but also includes myriad forms of learning across contexts and the life span. The education sciences major explores the field of education via academic inquiry and direct engagement with schools, families, and local and global communities.
