Keldon Clegg

Keldon Clegg is a Master's degree candidate in the 23rd cohort of the Principal Leadership Institute program at UC Berkeley's School of Education. His academic interests in education include digital privacy, media literacy, and community engagement.

Keldon currently serves as a leader at Berkeley High School working as the Co-Coordinator of Professional Development, an EdTech Teacher on Special Assignment, and humanities teacher. Over his 12 years at BHS, he has also served as the International Baccalaureate Coordinator, WASC Coordinator, and Secondary Constructing Meaning Trainer.

Prior to his PLI work, Keldon earned a BA in Women's Studies and Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He holds a single subject social studies credential from California State University, East Bay and West Contra Costa Unified School District's Intern Program. Before coming to Berkeley Unified in 2011, Keldon worked in both the Pleasanton and West Contra Costa Unified School Districts as a Social Studies teacher.

Outside of his work in education, Keldon can be found walking his dogs through downtown Berkeley and spending weekends on a multi-year Dungeons and Dragons campaign.
